Coraline Book Review

I just finished reading the book Coraline. I really enjoyed the book, but it was obviously written for younger readers, and the lack of vocabulary sort of frustated me. The story was quite good, and though I wouldn't exactly call it a must-read, it was definetely worth reading. As for the scare-o-meter, though it is supposedly horror, I wouldn't really call it that. At least, not the obvious kind of horror that makes you shiver even in the full light of day, or keeps you up at night, wondering, even when you're not reading it, makes you reach for it because you have to know what happens, even though it will give you nightmares...or even to take it a step further makes you take the book out of the room because you know you'll read it otherwise...anyway, I'm getting off subject. What I've been trying to say is that it's not Stephen King scary but at night, you will silently wonder...because there seems to be a story underneath the story, no matter how old you are, that silently haunts you...
Time for the question...drumroll please, have you read Coraline? Would you like to #guestblog# your review? No? Didn't think so. :) But...tell me what you thought! Or, if you didn't read it, do you want to? Tell me!!! Look down people! I'm watching you! Comment!
